Responsibilities:

1. Recreation Program Management:
• Develop and oversee a comprehensive recreation program that aligns with the eco-resort’s values and goals.
• Plan and execute a variety of recreational activities and experiences for guests of all ages and interests.
• Ensure the safety of all participants during recreational activities.
2. Staff Management:
• Recruit, train, and manage a team of recreation staff, including guides, instructors, and support staff.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting eco-friendly practices among the team.
3. Guest Engagement:
• Interact with guests to understand their preferences and tailor recreational experiences to their needs.
• Encourage guest participation in eco-friendly and sustainable activities, promoting environmental awareness.
4. Equipment and Resource Management:
• Maintain and inventory recreational equipment, ensuring its safety and functionality.
• Manage the budget for recreational activities, optimizing resource utilization.
5. Environmental Stewardship:
• Collaborate with the resort’s sustainability team to promote eco-friendly practices within recreational activities.
• Educate guests on the local ecosystem and wildlife, fostering a deeper appreciation for nature.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Recreation Management, Hospitality, or a related field (preferred).
• Previous experience in a recreation management role within the hospitality or eco-tourism industry.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Passion for eco-friendly and sustainable practices.
• First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of the local ecosystem and outdoor activities.
