OFFICIAL OPENING THE NEW CANOPY WALKWAY (SEBERANG ARA)
A New Way to Experience Taman Negara Pahang
We are delighted to announce the official opening of the New Canopy Walkway (Seberang Ara) at Taman Negara Pahang on 22 June 2026.
Developed to enhance the visitor experience while maintaining the highest standards of safety and environmental conservation, this exciting new attraction offers guests a unique opportunity to explore one of the world’s oldest tropical rainforests from high above the forest floor.
Located in the Seberang Ara area near Kuala Tahan, the new canopy walkway stretches approximately 1.1 kilometres (1,100 metres) through the rainforest, providing an extended treetop adventure unlike any other. Elevated around 40 to 45 metres above the ground, visitors can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the rainforest canopy while immersing themselves in the sights and sounds of nature.
Along the route, visitors will find approximately 17 checkpoints and viewing stations, offering opportunities to rest, take photographs, observe wildlife, and appreciate the rich biodiversity of Taman Negara. The walkway is also an excellent spot for birdwatching and nature enthusiasts seeking a closer connection with the rainforest ecosystem.
Whether you are an adventure seeker, photographer, wildlife enthusiast, or simply looking to experience the beauty of nature from a different perspective, the New Canopy Walkway promises an unforgettable rainforest experience for visitors of all ages.
